Get together 5 of your fastest and most accurate friends for a competition like no other!

Teams of 5 will compete against each other for the podium and bragging rights.

How does it Work?

1. Each team member takes at least two runs on the preset NASTAR course

- The fastest time of the day from each person will be used for competition

- Points will be assigned per person based off of the overall ranking

2. Each team will shoot 125 combined targets at the Sporting clays lodge

- Targets are shot in a 5-stand format, 25 targets per person

- Points will be assigned per person based off overall ranking

- Teams will be responsible for their own transportation showing up 30 minutes prior to their designated shooting time.

- All equipment and ammunition will be supplied. You are welcome to use your own if you wish.

The team with the most combined points in the gates and guns category wins. In the event of a tie, the fastest individual time on NASTAR will be used to determine the winner.

Winners will be announced at the Sporting Clays Grille on the day of the event, February 18, 2012. A small reception of light appetizers will be available from 4:30-6:30. Awards will be announced at 6:00pm.

Time: The event starts at 5pm, but we will be snowtubing from 6pm-8pm

Children: $20 (11 and under via 7springs tubing rules)

We will have an assortment of food, hot dogs, soup, hot chocolate, coffee and a bonfire. There will be no discount to the cost if you bring a potluck dish.

The tubing park does not allow adult beverages, so bring your own supplies and keep it hidden.

Meet at the bus at 6:30 am at Seven Springs.  We will leave at 7:00 am. We will board the bus from 3:30 -4:00pm that afternoon and head to Mountain State Brewing Co for drinks and food. Expect to be home around 7-8pm.

Event: MVSC Holiday Party 2011

Location: Highlands Hall (across the street from Saranelli’s) www.HighlandsHall.com

Address: 4021 Pennsylvania 31 Donegal, PA 15628 (does not work in all GPS units, the building is new)

Time: Cocktails at 6:00 PM, Buffet Dinner at 7:00 PM

Entertainment: Professional DJ, Dancing, Open Bar (Beer & Wine) all night.

This event will sell out: The venue holds a max of 120 people. Once we sell 120 tickets we will close the online ticketing and there will be no way to buy tickets.  We average a little over 100 people at this event (104-106) but we expect that this event will be more popular due to the close location and the open bar all night as opposed to the two drink tickets as before. Bus: If you do not want to drive to the Holiday Party Check this out.

When: We will start at the top of the mountain (Southwind & Villages) at 5:10pm and work our way down the mountain (County line, Buck Ridge, Shark’s, Rodger’s, Your House…)

Approximate arrival at the Holiday Party at 6pm.

We will not have bus access from 6pm-10:45pm.

10:45pm we will load up to go to 7springs (or a drop off at your house)

1:00am – Bus will load up to travel down the mountain to drop you off at your place.

The event will be located in Festival Hall (the closest building to the tubing area that is attached to the main lodge).  We moved the location so it would be easier for people to unload & load their gear.

Charity: This year MVSC and the 7springs Ski Patrol will have a donation booth set up for the Wounded Warrior Patrol, a 501(c)3 non-profit (yes, donations are tax deductible) that supports and teaches skiing to wounded military veterans and their families.  The organization is in desperate need for all types and sizes of ski clothing, ski equipment and/or cash donations. As an example of what they do: the Wounded Warrior Patrol will be bringing approximately 10 wounded military veterans and their families to Seven Springs for a weekend of skiing in February 2012. Location: The location will be at the Donegal VFW Post 6743 less than a mile on the left past Sarnelli’s on Route 31E.

Start Time: 2:00 PM – 9/10/2011

Cost: Member – Annual Dues of $30 plus one side dish ($5 surcharge without a side dish).

• Kids under 16 are free. Ages 16-20 are $5 and Guests (21+) are $10.  If a guest brings a side dish we will knock off $5.

Food and Beverage: Hamburgers and Hot-Dogs will be served around 4:00 PM.  There will also be Beer, Wine, Soda and Water.  This is also a pot-luck event, so there will be plenty of food. Come hungry!

Volunteers: All members are required to volunteer at 3 events per year (via section 4B of our bylaws).  This is an easy one, so why not help out?  We are looking for people to help set up (show up an hour early), run sign-in with Janice or help clean-up afterwards (stay an extra 30 minutes).  Please call Tina Sauers 412-443-7817 if you are able to volunteer.

Games: The area around the shelter is grassy, so make sure to bring your outdoor games.
