Other highlights included seeing some random kids jump off the chairlift and homemade apple cider moonshine on the bus.

MVSC Bus Trip to Wisp

Friday, February 12th, 2010

Meet at the bus at 6am at Seven Springs.  We will leave at 6:30am and return later that day.

Call Bobby Motta (412) 606-4788 or Jade Vamos (412) 400-6087 to reserve your seat!

Cost is $39.  ($20 for the Bus and $19 for the lift ticket).

Note: We got a special group rate of $19 for a lift ticket from an old friend of the club.  The regular rate for this day is $65 and Feb 12th is counted as a Holiday on Wisp’s schedule.  The cross-resort season pass free ticket is not valid on resort holidays.  I know that it is a bummer that we do not get the free ticket (please don’t call, I already did a million times), but $19 is a whole lot better than the regular group rate!

If anyone is interested in going to Switzerland in April, the National Ski Council Federation has a trip that will cost $390.00 (plus another approx.$400.00 for airport taxes and fees). Most everything except a few meals is covered and spouses are invited for additional fees.

Go to www.skifederation.org and click on the Members Benefits tab. Enter skiclub as the user and member as the password to bring up the members benefit page and the Educational ski trip page. Click on Educational Ski Trip which will then ask you to re-enter skiclub and member as user and password.

Read the information and fill out the form to register.

They are looking for trip leaders and/or Council officers who run or are responsible for trips to go. Good opportunity!
