City Skier Conquers Mt Washington

By Kyle P

Earlier this week Pittsburgh was featured on skinet.com’s Dump of the Week – http://www.skinet.com/skiing/resorts/2010/02/dumps-of-the-week?cmpid=enews021010

Even though it is an awesome photo, John is about 30 years too late.  Mt Washington is already claimed by MVSC’s Howard Engelberg.  Back on 1978, Howard went down Mt Washington under the Duquesne Incline.  According to the article, this treacherous path is filled with broken glass, sharp vines and a 15 foot cliff drop.  Luckly for Howard, it was also filled with two feet of fresh pow.  Check out a PDF of the article below for the full story.  It’s an great read.
