Hidden Valley offers Free Skiing
SKI FOR FREE AND HELP THE LOCAL FOOD BANK

Hidden Valley will offer free skiing with a donation of canned food goods.
It has been a long winter in western Pennsylvania and Hidden Valley is looking to end the season with a special offer. The resort will close their ski season in a similar way they started it – by offering guests an opportunity to enjoy the slopes for free – with the donation of one canned food item. All donations will be given to two local food banks.
The winter season has been a big success at Hidden Valley. We opened on November 28 and offered free skiing and snowboarding over Thanksgiving weekend. The promotion was a huge hit as thousands of skiers and snowboarders came out to rediscover Hidden Valley. Once again skiers and snowboarders will be able to enjoy the slopes for free on Sat., Mar. 21 and Sun., Mar. 22. In order to get the free ski ticket, guests will have to present one canned good food item. The donations will be given to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and The Community Action Partnership for Somerset County.
Hidden Valley chose these two charities in order to support those in need in the local community and in the Greater Pittsburgh Region where many of the resort’s guests reside.
Skiing and snowboarding will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sat., Mar. 21 and Sun., Mar. 22. Guests can obtain a complimentary ski ticket with the donation of canned food or a $10 donation, both of which will be given to the two charities. The resort will open six to eight slopes, which will be serviced by two to three lifts. Ski and snowboard equipment will be available at discounted rates and Wintersports University will offer lessons at an additional cost.
