The MVSC bicyclists are hitting the trails a few times this summer! Our first event will be a combined bicycle ride followed by a picnic at the Viscontis.

The ride will begin at noon on Sunday May 26, 2024 starting at the Rockwood GAP Trailhead. There will be two distinct groups:

• Beginner’s ride Rockwood to Garrett (14 miles or less roundtrip)

• Advanced rides Rockwood to Meyersdale (24 miles or less roundtrip)

• Rockwood GAP Trailhead:

Rules of the rides

• Electric bikes welcome

• Breaks as needed. Casual riding style. “No one left behind!”

• Water and snack bars will be provided

Cost

• Member Cost Covered dish or $10 per person

• Non-Member Cost Covered dish or $15 per person

Non-bikers are welcome to register and join Dan (I will ride anything that has two wheels and a large motor) at the picnic!
