Please join us for our MVSC Summer Picnic @ Laurel Hill State Park on Saturday, August 5 from Noon to sunset. Bring your family, children, grandchildren, and friends to our summer picnic. Look for the tents that will be set up behind the concession stand and beach area. Park is Pet friendly but please have your dog on a leash.

Laurel Hill State Park is truly a wonderful nature sanctuary where we can relax and enjoy all kinds of summer fun. You can swim in the lake or just relax on the beach. You can bring your own kayaks or bikes, or you can rent bikes, kayaks, canoes, fun hydro bicycles, and standup paddle boards. You can take a bike ride on a bike trail or do a hike. We will have volunteers available to lead a hike or a bike ride. There is a volleyball net on the beach, and we will have cornhole, badminton and other fun activities for adults and children. Bring your own lawn chairs.

You can BBQ and/or bring your own favorite summer picnic foods. If you wish to share a favorite dish with others that would be welcomed! Bring charcoal if you plan to BBQ. NO ALCOHOL allowed in Pennsylvania state parks. There is a concession stand available 3 minutes from the lake beach with hot dogs, ice cream, etc.

The club will provide water and ice.

BE AWARE THERE IS NO ELECTRIC AT THIS PICNIC SITE.
