The MVSC bicyclists are hitting the trails a few times this summer! Our first event will be a combined bicycle ride followed by a picnic at the Visconti’s, 13 Snow Drift Lane, Champion, PA 15622. MVSC will provide the main protein, and attendees are asked to bring a side dish of either: appetizer, side, or dessert. This is a BYOB event. We will provide water and a limited variety of diet/regular soda. Ice will also be available.
The ride will begin at noon on Sunday, May 24, 2026 starting at the Rockwood GAP Trailhead. There will be two distinct groups:
Beginner rides: Rockwood to Garrett (14 miles or less roundtrip)
Advanced rides: Rockwood to Meyersdale (24 miles or less roundtrip)

Electric bikes are welcome.
Breaks are as needed.
Casual/Pleasure riding style. “No-one left behind!”
Water and snack bars will be provided.
Please be sure to have a water bottle or camelback for the ride.
While wearing a helmet is optional it is highly recommended, you only get one brain.
